Connect a custom domain to your creator storefront

Choose the address for your shop

Use a domain you own, or a subdomain such as shop.yourbrand.com. A subdomain lets an existing website stay at your main address while your shop has its own home. Enter the hostname in Settings → Connect your own domain. Each store supports one connected hostname.

Verify ownership, then connect the domain

Follow the settings instructions to add the ownership TXT record at your DNS provider. After ownership is verified, the page shows the routing records your domain needs. Check DNS again to activate it. DNS propagation and HTTPS setup can take time; typing an address alone does not make it live.

Give products a place on your own domain

An active custom domain opens your published storefront at its root and supports direct product paths. Your existing visitmy.shop store address continues to work, so links you have already shared still reach your shop.

Know where buyers go next

Instagram product links and shop QR codes continue to use your visitmy.shop address. Account pages, the buyer library, and download routes use the main platform, and checkout return links keep their existing behavior. A custom domain brands your storefront address; it does not move every step onto that domain.

Keep your shop connected

Custom-domain routing requires a published store and Pro access. Disconnecting the domain, unpublishing the shop, or losing Pro stops routing through that custom address. Keep access to your DNS account so you can maintain its records.

Is a domain name included in Pro?

Pro includes the storefront connection. Buy and renew the domain separately with your domain registrar.

Can I keep my current website?

Yes. Connect a subdomain for the shop and leave your main website in place. Follow the DNS records shown in settings for that hostname.

Will my visitmy.shop link stop working?

No. Your existing shop URL continues to work while the custom domain is connected.
